TESTIMONIALS

After retirement I was looking to downsize close to the city. A big house and garden on the Mornington Peninsula had become a burden. I was lucky to find Palmyra. I love the Edwardian part of the building and my modern apartment is light filled and spacious. The community is welcoming and friendly and I am close to all the theatre and shows in the city. I looked at lots of Retirement Villages and found Palmyra to have very low exit fees and manageable Body Corporate costs.

Over 2 years ago, we moved our parents to Palmyra. This was a traumatic experience for them to leave the family home but maintenance had become unmanageable. We looked at all of the RVs in the area but Palmyra is wonderful and they love it there because they still have an asset, their independence and the community along with the magnificent surrounds and gardens and it is close to everything!

On moving back to Melbourne, Palmyra provided us with the ideal home, near family, close to the city and in walking distance of the wonderful strip shopping of Glenhuntly Road. With no entrance fees and only 1% of sale price as exit fees, it was a bargain amongst independent living units, providing retirement village style facilities you actually own. The fellowship and social activities found within the village was a wonderful bonus on taking up residency.
